Bill Baird, aka Sunset, is carving out a category all his own. References abound - "both reminiscent (of 60s glam and 70s psychedelia) and of-the-moment, nodding to albums like Department of Eagles’ In Ear Park" wrote Rachel Sawyer of the Austinist. Most reviewers create new genre names especially for Sunset: shimmering Americana, Psychedelic high lonesome, electro-nostalgia. Broke-down, spaced-out, and transcendent, his creations are a fully detailed world.

Baird is also - as you'll find here - incredibly prolific, wide-ranging within his particular universe, playful, and always full of texture. We're losing count but we're pretty sure he handed us six albums, and Sunset as an entity is only a few years old.
